Cannabis Sales Agent Job Opening in Denver, Colorado - Do you enjoy developing new relationships, cultivating new distribution opportunities, and managing your own schedule?
Denver based cannabis and ancillary distribution operation is looking for a commission-based sales rep to join our team! We distribute a full line of medicated and non-medicated products across a diverse range of market segments. The Sales Representative is responsible for the management of current client accounts, cultivating new distribution opportunities and securing multiple regular, monthly retail customers purchasing product at a wholesale level.
Responsibilities include:
-Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and business partners
-Arrange and schedule visits with clients by contacting retail outlets
-Develop knowledge and stay up to date on company product line and other products in the market
-Prepare and deliver sales presentations with key decision makers
-Evaluate and meet customer needs
-Achieve sales using various methods such as in-person visits, phone calls, presentations, etc
-Maintain an awareness of market behavior and sales trends and respond accordingly
-Develop strategies for increasing opportunities in various market areas
-Process orders and forward details to company office headquarters
-Achieve sales goals, as directed by company executive management
-Attend trade shows and other events to stay up to date with market trends and promote company products
-Regularly meet with management to review weekly sales activities
Requirements include:
-Wholesale experienced required
-Must be a self-motivated, confident and assertive
-Excellent verbal and written communication and people skills in dealing with a broad range of customers in a professional manner
-Must be 21 and over to apply
-Strong problem solving skills
-Ability to work in an environment that encourages teamwork
-Must have reliable transportation
-Maintain a level of attention to detail
-Must be able to successfully obtain a MED badge; current MED badge holder a plus
Compensation:
This position will include a base/draw with uncapped commission. The right candidate can earn a substantial income but will have to put in hard work initially to establish a base of customers and accounts. However if you are adept at sales and have the ability to close, this position can easily turn into a six-figure income.
