This is a great opportunity for someone interested in merchandising and selling beautiful, fresh-cut floral bouquets. We are a nationwide fresh cut flower distributor that produces high quality floral bouquets to be sold by Wholesalers and mass marketers.
Our current search is for an upbeat, enthusiastic self-starter with the ability to work well unsupervised and drive the business as it were their own. The person coming into this role will need to be organized, flexible, and reliable. If you are a motivated individual who derives personal satisfaction by using your abilities to increase sales, provide excellent customer service, and improve and grow the business, you could be a great fit for this position.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
Driving sales through attractive merchandising of product
Responding to customer inquiries
Reporting accurate daily sales and inventory figures
Using high standards of cleanliness for display and product storage areas
Maintaining quality requirements through daily ?grooming? of the product
Engage with customers with the highest level of friendly service
Unpack floral freight deliveries and organize flowers in cooler
Using correct product care and handling techniques according to company guidelines
Position Requirements:
Ability to organize and prioritize work demands and influx in business during peak season
Attention to details, accuracy, and meeting deadlines
Successfully pass a background check and drug screening
Eligible to work in the United States
Skills and Abilities:
1-2 years of customer service (floral/perishable products are a plus)
Willing to work during the peak times, including weekends
Pull, push and lift up to 45 lbs.
