RESPONSIBILITIES
Process vendor payables
Bi-weekly cash disbursements, including sub-contractor payroll
Prepare & distribute 1099's annually
Prepare & make daily cash deposits
Calculate salesperson commissions weekly
Monthly and year-end closing and financial statements reporting to owners
Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
Oversee subcontractor compliance & insurance certificates
Maintain company liability, worker?s compensation, and other business insurances
Other special projects & calculations, on an as-needed basis
COMPETENCIES
Strong computer skills with experience using Excel, Word and Outlook
Professional demeanor and cooperative, teamwork type attitude
Demonstrated ability in problem solving and process improvement
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Detail-oriented, with great follow-through
Ability to multi-task and handle a busy office environment
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 3 years bookkeeping / accountant
