Location: Fort Rucker, AL
Schedule: Full Time - Monday thru Friday except Federal holidays or when the government facility is closed for administrative reasons
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance (minimum)
Management Technology, Inc. (MTI) - a progressive IT company, is seeking motivated IT professionals to help us form a talented team in support of the U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE) Signal Operations (G6) Information Technology Support Services (ITSS) Program.
Responsibilities:
Supervises 30+ technical staff members consisting of Hardware Engineers, Help Desk Specialists, Information Assurance Specialists, Configuration Management Specialists, Enterprise Architects, SharePoint Developers, Database Administrators, Network Specialists, Systems Engineers, Applications Systems Analysts, and Training Specialists.
The Project Manager will report directly to the Program Manager and will serve as the Alternate Program Manager during absences.
Directly manages the contractor staff and provides task assignments to the team and coordinates project review meetings
Maintains and manages the onsite client interface at the senior levels of the client organization
Must demonstrate the ability to lead and facilitate IT Projects over the course of a project?s lifecycle
Manages a master project schedule
Provides monthly accounting of the work order expenditures
Ensures conformance with program task schedules and costs
Reviews and approves all contract deliverables and work products
Directs the delivery of technical services and ensures timeliness and quality of all services and work products
Ensures that all teams are staffed adequately and appropriately with qualified personnel
Identifies, prioritizes, and mitigates all program risks
Performs technical scope assessments and resource estimates
Continually improves project and process efficiencies and effectiveness
Provides a Monthly Status Report
Implements a robust Quality Assurance program
Minimum Qualifications:
5 -8 years? experience leading projects with at least 2 years of experience leading IT specific projects with 30+ staff in an IT Infrastructure environment for the Government or on behalf of a Government client.
Active SECRET Clearance in good standing
PMP certification is required, however if the candidate does not currently have a PMP they will be able to obtain it within the first six months of employment.
