Accounts Payable Clerk
Overview:
Performs a wide variety of accounts payable and office support functions.
Responsibilities:
Reviews, posts and processes invoices upon receipt from vendors.
Works closely with vendors and provides prompt customer service.
Processes ACH transactions and prints check requests.
Matches up purchase orders with correct invoices.
Processes and reconciles vendor statements and invoices which will involve research of invoices and payment activity.
Reviews and provides payment for employee expense reports.
Performs various accounts receivable functions as needed.
Assists with providing data and information for annual budget preparation and annual audits.
Provides general office support; to include answering the phone and providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications and Skills:
3-7 years of accounts payable experience.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
3-7 years of experience using and troubleshooting MAS 90 or Sage 100 is preferred.
Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.
Good customer service orientation toward employees and customers.
Capability to work independently but as a team.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
