Inside Sales Representative Job Opening in Greenville, South carolina - We are currently looking for an inside sale representative for a distribution company in Greenville SC. The inside sale rep candidate will be working along the sales account managers, the quality engineering team, and the clients to insure that the highest quality standards are delivered. We do provide relocation assistance, as well as health benefits, 401k plan and paid vacation.
INSIDE SALES RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage APQP activities (Drawing reviews, Control Plans, Gage R & R, Capability Studies, etc.)
Review, prepare and submit PPAP's.
Manage activities associated with launch of new products to ensure all areas (Design, Process, and Quality) have been adequately developed.
Participation in technical reviews during Feasibility as well as during APQP.
Interact directly with suppliers & customers regarding PPAP/APQP issues.
Tackle Problems which are initiated from the quality side: Participate in doing a full dimensional verification on every PPAP.
Tackle Problems which are initiated from the supplier side: verify a process change at a supplier.
Tackle Problems which are initiated from the customer side: dive into an customer RFQ.
INSIDE SALES REQUIREMENTS:
Must have working experience with metric fasteners either in production or application.
Ability to read prints, from basic to complex. Pick up on all aspects of a part number, including embedded specifications.
Good computer skills (MS office products)
4 Year degree in technical discipline preferred but will we consider equivalent on-the-job experience.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project. * Familiar with Public Standards - ISO, DIN, ASME, SAE, etc.
Technical German language competency (a "nice to have", but not required)
Being familiar with ISO/TS, IMDS, AIAG and APQP.
Good interpersonal skills to deal with both suppliers and customers.
Must be legally eligible to work in the USA.
