Regional Account Executive Job Opening in sacramento, California - Regional Account Executive Position: Regional Account Executive, Gaynor Telesystems Inc. Department: Sales Status: Full time POSITION OVERVIEW The Account Executive is responsible for assessing customer needs and providing consultative sales solutions, as well as consistently selling at or above quota of $48,000 in contract sales per month. REPORTING RELATIONSHIP � The Account Executive reports directly to, and receives instructions and directions from, the Sales Manager. � The Account Executive has no direct reports. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES The essential functions and basic duties of the Account Executive include, but are not limited to the following: � Successful completion of initial development program. � Follow the 10 (ten) step selling process. � Generate new sales leads, including cold calls and potential clients/partners. � Book client appointments, accurately develop project pricing utilizing provided programs, organize proposals, and conduct demonstrations and presentations. � Close the sale of new VoIP and/or TDM telephone systems. � Contact existing customer base at least once every 4(four) months. � Maintain account information in CRM and utilize and maintain �Opportunities� in CRM daily. � Maintain client satisfaction throughout the sales cycle and post sale. � Work with departments to ensure all necessary information such as job packages are accurately and timely available for installation and billing forecasting. � Develop and maintain excellent knowledge of all Gaynor Telesystems products, both voice and data. � Participate in all product training. � Complete all testing. � Represent GTS in a professional manner. � Achieve or exceed pre-determined performance criteria of the following: o Proposals: To be equal to, or greater than, 3 times the minimum monthly quota for 90 day pipeline. o Cold calling o Obtain monthly, quarterly and annual sales quota SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS � Minimum two years outside sales experience in telecommunications or computer hardware / software industries. � VOIP, Data, NEC and PELCO experience a plus. � Professional attitude and leadership. � Strong written and verbal communications skills. � Ability to work with Windows based databases, programs and software. � Strong organizational and time management skills with a conscientious attention to detail � Work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-task, high volume environment. � Have a successful track record of consistently surpassing sales goals. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS � Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record. PHYSICAL DEMANDS � Primarily sitting and/or driving. � Lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally. WORK ENVIRONMENT � Busy professional office environment. � No hazardous or significantly unpleasant conditions. COMPENSATION STRUCTURE: � Monthly base salary of $2,000 dependent upon experience, a $1,100 bonus for reaching monthly quota, and the commission percentage for sold jobs. � Auto allowance of $400.00 per month when quota is reached, $200.00 when quota isn�t reached. Effective the first calendar month. � Company provided mobile communication device.
