POSITION: Part Time Therapist SALARY: $17.70 - $20.71 Per Hour (Additional salary for MFT, LCSW) OVERVIEW: The Therapist is responsible for providing 20 hours a week of individual, family, and group therapy for the teenagers and young adults that have been accepted into the Transition Age Program (TAP). This position will also work 8 hours a week at our Family Resource Centers providing assessment sessions, group therapy for parents involved in the Child Protective Services, and regular contact with the CPS Social Workers. This position also comes with a $2,000/year incentive program for meeting billing requirements. Duties include, but are not limited to: Schedule, coordinate, and assemble necessary materials for individual and group therapy sessions. Meet with the clients for individual, group and/or family therapy sessions. Assess the client�s needs and level of functioning. Provide crisis counseling to children/families as necessary. Communicate, as appropriate, any issues concerning the client to their support network. Collaborate with TAP Community Mental Health Workers regarding client care. Complete all required County and EPSDT mental health paperwork in a timely manner. Participate in trainings, staff meetings, and case reviews as required. QUALIFICATIONS: A Master�s Degree in a Behavioral Science and be licensed (or registered) with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an LCSW (ACSW) or MFT (MFTI) ir required. Two years experience with emotionally disturbed children or adolescents and their families is preferred. Must possess a valid California Driver�s License, clean driving record (no more than 3 driving violations in the past 3 years), a reliable automobile and auto insurance.
