Marketing Sales Representative Job Opening in Kansas City, Missouri - Marketing Sales Representative Job Responsibilities:
The role of the Marketing Sales Representative is to expand Missouri Better Living Services? business by generating referrals for the Missouri Medicaid In-Home services, Consumer Directed Services and DMH programs within the Kansas City and surrounding areas.
Marketing Sales Coordinator Job Duties:
Builds relationships with Physicians, Skilled Nursing and Rehab facilities.
Works in collaboration with management to establish bi-annual marketing goals.
Builds and implements sales marketing strategies to increase business growth.
Actively seeks out community partnerships through outreach and/or volunteering.
Builds rapport with potential agencies or consumers.
Be able to thoroughly explain the benefits of the program.
Responsible for submitting potential client information to office staff for further processing.
Contributes information to the market strategy by monitoring competition in the area and direct contact with clients.
Maintains and expands a database of prospective agencies.
Essential Functions
Maintain clear and concise documentation of all contacts and the outcome of contacts. Maintain a working knowledge of Department of Health and Senior Services and Medicaid policies and procedures. Travel locally and daily, using own vehicle. Minimum of at least 2 years of recent external sales experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in home health care or senior living. Proven ability to develop and implement a sales and marketing plan. Evidence of achieving referral goals within the market. Excellent planning, organization, and well-constructed presentation skills are critical. The ideal candidate will have established healthcare contacts. Be able to readily network in the community.
Education, Training and Experience
BA/BS degree preferred or 6+ years of proven sales marketing in Sales, Customer Service, Home Health, and motivated to develop and build strong, lasting healthcare relationships.
Minimum Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of the philosophy and goals of independent living, advocacy, peer counseling and
Exhibit strong business acumen to include contract negotiating
Willingness to stay current about specific topics concerning disability; i.e.: architectural accessibility, housing, transportation, personal care, employment, etc.
Present and communicate the programs in a professional manner
Effective computer skills
Timely internal communications
Closing SkillsMeeting marketing goals
Must be organized with good time management skills
Clean driving record for the at least 3 years or more
