Ashland Healthcare, a skilled nursing facility located in Ashland Missouri , is seeking a Director of Nursing that has a passion for working with the elderly population with the highest quality of care with compassion and integrity!
The Director of Nursing will direct the operations of the Nursing Department to ensure that the highest degree of quality resident care is maintained at all times in accordance with the State and Federal Regulations and the facility policies and procedures.
Job Responsibilities as the Director of Nursing include interacting with patients, family members and physicians as well as managing the residents' data and medical records. Additional responsibilities include: Planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating and directing the coordination of the nursing department with other members of the Interdisciplinary Team to ensure the accuracy and continuity of the residents total plan of care. Overseeing an on-going Quality Improvement Program for the nursing department.
Job Requirements for the Director of Nursing
RN License in good standing with the State Board of Nursing
Familiar with State and Federal Regulations for Long Term Care and experience in the long term industry is preferred
The ideal candidate will have both clinical experience as a Registered Nurse, as well as experience in nursing management and supervision (as a charge nurse, head nurse, nursing service director, nurse manager, or other similar position in nursing administration).
