The Regional Director of Environmental Services will oversee maintenance, housekeeping, and laundry departments to support and streamline their activities across multiple facilities.
Principal Responsibilities:
Technical:
The Regional Director of Support Services ensures a safe, comfortable, sanitary environment for residents, staff and visitors in accordance with Federal, State and Corporate requirements.
Performs preventative maintenance procedures.
Supporting administrators to hire and train managers for above departments.
Overseeing special projects
Requires full range of body motion.
ADMINISTRATIVE:
The Regional Director of Support Services maintains equipment necessary to meet Center needs.
Understands department budget.
Maintains written records and documents of services performed according to Federal, Sate and Corporate requirements.
May train personnel to meet Center needs.
Participates in assigned meetings and in-services.
In addition to the above, candidate will also be responsible for the supervision of all new construction projects across multiple facilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
One year experience in a long term care center preferred
Ability to read and write English for business necessity
Ability to perform basic electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairs
One year experience in basic trades preferred
Working knowledge of plant support systems (cooling/heating, emergency systems) preferred
