Financial Analyst Job Opening in Washington, District of columbia - Job Responsibilities :
Provide financial execution support, utilizing both legacy and the Navy?s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) financial systems to PEO Ships' shipbuilding program offices.
Analyzes accounting records to determine financial resources required to implement programs and makes recommendations for budget allocations to ensure conformance to budgetary limits.
Reviews operating budgets periodically in order to analyze trends affecting budget needs.
Assist in preparing, reviewing, and updating various budget exhibits and budget back-up material.
Supporting the preparation of procurement documentation, including Procurement Requests (PR), Statements of Work (SOW), and Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL).
Support funding document preparation and tracking, execution report preparation and maintenance, financial reconciliation, coordination of the monthly Execution Status Report (ESR), and Task Planning Sheet (TPS) tracking and management support.
Assist with monitoring and updating spend plans, adjusting allocations to revised budget controls, preparing reprogramming requests, and the day to day budget execution process.
Provide expertise and cost data to assist in developing and maintaining Life Cycle Cost Estimate (LCCE) Models.
Qualifications :
Bachelor Degree
6-10 years of experience working with Shipbuilding and Conversion Navy (SCN) and Research, Development, Test and Evaluation, Navy (RDT&E,N) appropriations
Secret Clearance
ERP experience (desired)
Navy program acquisition experience (desired)
This job is contingent on contract award and government funding.
Salary
