Office Administrator Job Opening in Houston, Texas - Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Answer multi line telephone, screen and direct calls. Receive and relay messages to appropriate personnel. Provide information to callers.
Greet visitors to organization and direct them to correct destination.
Ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization.
Monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness.
Ensure kitchens and supply rooms are well stocked at all times, including vending machines.
Receive and sort mail and deliveries.
Schedule appointments, Company cars and make hotel/travel, limo arrangements as needed.
Organize Company conference room reservations.
Tidy and maintain the reception area, kitchen and supply rooms.
Organize catering for office functions to include pick-up and delivery if necessary.
Work with building management to log office maintenance requests.
Schedule maintenance on all water filtration units and coffee machines in kitchen and coffee bars.
Assist other departments (e.g., Sales Support, Accounting, etc.) with overflow of work, filing, etc.
Education and Experience
High school diploma generally required
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications
Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
