Director of Sales and Marketing Job Opening in Key Largo, Florida - The Director of Sales and Marketing will oversee their department responsible for business development at The Bungalows, a brand-new 135-room luxury all-inclusive resort located in Key Largo in the Florida Keys. The property is currently under construction with an anticipated opening date in December 2017. The 12 acre resort will feature luxurious free-standing bungalows with a unique, market-leading amenity set, multiple dining venues, spa, two resort pools, and two beaches along 1,000 feet of shoreline featuring dramatic sunset views.
The Director of Sales and Marketing will spearhead pre-opening activities including development of sales and marketing , packages, collateral, and developing relationships with outside vendors and sources of potential business. The Director will assist ownership in launching the property and maximizing bookings across all available demand segments. Once open, the Director will be responsible for daily sales and marketing operations and management consistent with a luxury resort property. The Director of Sales and Marketing with report to the Resort General Manager.
Candidates should have substantial management experience with resort sales and marketing, ideally in an all-inclusive format. Experience in South Florida/Florida Keys or a similar tropical island market is preferred.
