Sales Representative Job Opening in Washington, District of columbia - About the Position: Walker Zanger is currently seeking a sales and territory specialist to promote and sell our brand in the Washington, DC area. Representative will develop new client relationships with architects, designers, builders and general contractors to generate new revenue. The representative will also work with authorized dealers in order to grow business for both parties within their existing territory.
Duties include:
Promote the brand and establish a presence in the greater DC area
Develop, specify and secure sales within the A&D community
Service and grow market share with authorized dealers
Travel with dealer?s sales force to promote brand
Update current product information and maintain displays
Service and maintain A&D libraries
Train on designing, selling, usage and installation requirements
Setting up product knowledge and CEU course presentations
Desired skills and experience:
Strong sense of excellent client service
Must work independently and be self-motivated
Knowledge of stone and ceramic tile as well as an understanding of the design process, color selecting and the ability to read architectural plans
Goal oriented, sales driven, and enjoys prospecting for new accounts
Bachelor?s degree or industry experience required
Some travel required
