Mortgage Investor Reporting Specialist JOB SUMMARY :
Responsible for daily/monthly investor reporting, tracking cash activity, submitting cash remittances & guarantee fees and calculating other miscellaneous cash transfers.
Mortgage Investor Reporting Specialist ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (RESPONSIBILITIES):
Ensures timely & accurate reporting of loan activity to investors including clearing of exceptions within strict deadlines.
Performs daily or monthly cash remittances for portfolios.
Initiates cash transfers (Advances/Advance Recoveries, Guaranty Fees, Buyout Funds, etc.)
Prepares and maintains accurate records for investor or state audits.
Documents & updates written processes & procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Mortgage Investor Reporting Specialist REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong math skills
Basic accounting
Proficiency in Excel and Word
Basic report design
Strong leadership skills
Ability to work well on a team
Equivalent
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 3 years of general book-keeping or general accounting.
At least 2 years of mortgage industry related experience in investor accounting required
Mortgage Investor Reporting Specialist SPECIAL JOB DIMENSIONS:
Work requires no lifting of more than 10 pounds, typing and computer work, i.e. sedentary, little to no external customer interaction, some vendor management. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adhere to structured deadlines.
