P/T Community Liaison Job Opening in colorado springs, Colorado - P/T Community Liaison Community Outreach is seeking someone to support an individual with a developmental disability. Duties would include: attending medical/dental appointments, running errands, grocery shopping, meal planning and preparation, assisting the individual with upkeep of the home, taking the individual to dances and social events, providing transportation, completing paperwork, and administering medications. We are looking for someone with a calm demeanor who is empathetic and patient. The person must be able to handle someone with significant behaviors. This position is approximately 15-20 hours/wk. The hours are mainly in the afternoons and early evening, although some mornings and evenings will also be required. Applicant must have a HS diploma and reliable transportation.
