Sales Specialist (Energy Services) Job Opening in New York, New york - Our portfolio company, an electric utility management service, is seeking a skillful salesperson with some knowledge of electric utility, energy services, or related engineering services. The ideal candidate is an innovative negotiator with the ability to sell complex ideas in a simple and succinct manner.
Responsibilities:
Act as Sales Specialist for Electric Utility Management Service
Make proactive sales calls to leads and prospects
Develop relationships with clients and establish new accounts
Remain informed about development of products and services
Coordinate with management, sales, and marketing teams to ensure sales success
Track progress through online CRM
Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in electric utility, energy services, or related engineering services preferred
Bachelor?s degree required
Cold calling and phone sales experience preferred
Displayed ability to consistently exceed sales goals
Ability to manage multiple requests, assess priorities, and achieve solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills is a must
Comfortable using CRM (experience with Zoho preferred) and Microsoft Office
