Due to our continued rapid growth we need talented Program Managers. Our Program Managers tackle the management of complex aircraft avionics hardware modification and avionics software development programs. Our program Managers are expected to balance program management, business development and technical problem solving in their daily role.
Specific Duties:
Borsight Program Managers manage Avionics/Aircraft Modification programs. They are responsible for the smooth operation of all day-to-day activities associated with their assigned program(s). To accomplish this, the Program Manager has the following responsibilities:
Engage in Business Development activities
Must be familiar with DoD Proposal structures and have demonstrated experience in writing proposals
Cultivate and Maintain Customer relationships to effectively assess customer needs.
Maintain primary, ongoing, responsibility for management of programs.
Facilitate the definition of program missions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements; resolve or assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between programs or functional areas; develop methods to monitor programs or area progress; and provide corrective supervision if necessary.
Manage the project budget and resource allocation.
Manage Customer meetings such as PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, PMR etc.
Facilitate the definition of customer requirements. Interact regularly with existing or potential customers to determine their needs and to develop plans for improving delivery. Advocate on behalf of customers and represent customers? needs as appropriate to senior management. Work cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes.
Follow a defined, agreed upon project management methodology.
Present oral and written reports defining plans, problems, and resolutions to appropriate levels of management.
Monitor scheduled and actual hours worked for assigned staff and any persons working on your assigned program(s).
Ensure the completion of all paper work, CDRLs, and reports relative to assigned program(s), assuring that they are completed accurately, adequately and in a timely manner. This includes meeting agenda and minutes, program charts, monthly status reports, and any other program or company-required reports.
Other duties as assigned
Required:
4 year degree in a Technical or Business discipline from an Accredited Institution
Prior DoD Contractor/Military experience
Prior Avionics/Aircraft experience
~10 years DoD Contractor experience in Proposals
~10 years DoD Contractor experience as Program Manager
Must be a US Citizen
Must be able to maintain a US Government Secret Clearance
