Accounting Internship Job Opening in Arlington, Virginia - ADS Corporation has a paid Internship available for a local student who can continue working during the Fall/Winter semesters. Graduate student with flexible schedule preferred.
Our corporate office is conveniently located in Arlington, VA above the Ballston Metro station on the Orange line.

NOTE: ADS Corporation provides support services to the Department of Defense and requires Intern applicants to be U.S. Citizens, eligible to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Learn to use the GCS Deltek Accounting system for Accounts Payable transactions.
Review employee expense reports and check for compliance with company policies.
Reconcile corporate credit cards; review individual receipts and correctly code and enter data in the accounting system.
Create vendors profiles in the accounting system.
Maintain accounting files; hard copy and electronic.
Assist with maintenance of Human Resources personnel records.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to work efficiently and independently to meet deadlines.
Excellent skills in Microsoft Office; Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word.
Working knowledge of fax machines, photocopiers, and scanners.
Meticulous attention to detail and outstanding business communication skills (written and verbal).
Professional telephone etiquette.
Dress in an appropriate manner for a corporate, business environment.
