JOB DESCRIPTION:
The candidate will participate in the complete development life-cycle, starting off with the requirements analysis and follow through with design, coding and implementation of enterprise projects using SharePoint 2013 and supporting technologies.
The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced Agile environment and must be very proactive in analyzing and solving issues to include ability to be able to identify problem areas and provide resolution.
The candidate will be comfortable interacting with customers, IT staff, and the management team.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
5-7 years experience in designing and developing software, including requirements analysis, application design, construction, testing, implementation and support throughout the full software development lifecycle.
5 years software development utilizing is a MUST
5+ years experience in the development, design, and support, of custom and out-of-the-box SharePoint solutions, as well as a full understanding of SharePoint 2013 features and functions. Experience to include:
Web Parts
Workflows
InfoPath Forms
Web Services
Features
SharePoint Designer
Visual
Experience with document management systems web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, etc.
Experience with TFS or similar code/requirements management tool suite
Experience working in an Agile environment specifically in Scrum and Kanban frameworks
Requires US Citizen or US Person (Green Card Holder) with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
DESIRED SKILLS:
SharePoint 2013 administration
Major Plus: SharePoint MCSE or MCSD certification
Migration experience with SharePoint 2013 to 2016 and/or SharePoint Online
Content Management System experience, e.g. Drupal, Moodle
Domain health science knowledge a plus
OTHER INFORMATION:
Telework available for up to 1 day per week after 4-6 months
Rate $50-$60/hr based on experience
