Responsible for design development migration and maintenance based applications;
Develops technical solutions based upon detailed requirements analysis;
Expert in Microsoft platform development to include ;
Works with both stakeholders in a software development team based upon the Agile methodology;
Provides detailed architecture and design documentation and produce required project artifacts;
Provides well commented code and documentation describing the developed code and its function and interface requirements;
Provides prototyping development and testing support as required;
Works on multiple projects as assigned in support of projects as determined by the customer site lead and by contract team leadership
Education and Experience
BS in Computer Science or similar technical field
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
Eight (8) years of relevant experience over and above the minimum experience requirements for the position will be considered equivalent to a Bachelor`s degree
Skills and Certifications
MS Office 2010;
Development experience in C# Object Oriented programming experience;
Configuration Management: Git preferred
Microsoft operating system environment experience
SQL Server database using SQL 2012 and stored procedures;
Experience in iterative RUP or Agile software development desired;
Experience creating and integrating unit tests with build tools desired e.g. Jenkins Hudson;
SCRUM trained and experience working with SCRUM teams desired;
Web Services Programming Experience desired;
JIRA issues/bug tracking tool experience desired;
Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) experience desired;
Position requires sitting for long periods of time. (Sedentary Work)
Most duties require extended use of a keyboard and computer monitor
