Juneau Youth Services (JYS) is a nationally accredited, behavioral health organization providing community and residential programs, including mental health and substance abuse services, for youth with severe emotional disorders, and their families. We emphasize relationship focused, strengths-based care within an overall framework of evidence based practices.
Primary Duties:
Directs the youth's treatment team in the delivery of high quality, treatment-plan driven services in a team-oriented environment. Provides clinical assessment, diagnostic formulation, treatment , and discharge/aftercare planning in collaboration with the treatment team. Provides individual, group, and family therapy. Coordinates with multiple staff and agencies. Completes required documentation, and provides rotational on-call crisis coverage.

Minimum Qualifications - Masters degree in social work, counseling, or closely related field; experience in clinical setting. Licensed or license eligible preferred. Ability to use DSM-V manual. Familiarity with behavioral health disorders commonly seen in youth. Knowledge of family dynamics and family systems. Experience using best practice treatment modalities.
Additional Qualifications for QI/TLP position ? QI: Experience auditing client records for compliance/quality strongly preferred. Ability to learn and interpret Medicaid and licensing regulations, accreditation standards. Reports findings and provides staff in improvement areas. Self-starter with strong time management and organizational skills. TLP: Experience with young adults working toward greater independence preferred.
Compensation ? Salary range $50,000 - $78,000 DOE; addt?l. compensation for on call coverage. Benefits include generous paid leave, 9 paid holidays, Medical/Dental/ Life, Employee Assistance Program, 403(b) retirement plan with matched contribution up to 9% of annual wage, licensing supervision, development, and relocation assistance.
