Quality Assurance Coordinator Job Opening in sacramento, California - Quality Assurance Coordinator Quality Assurance Coordinator - CA Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, the Quality Assurance Coordinator reviews and monitors GSDS/SETDS quality improvement initiatives and systems to assess levels of compliance. Oversees the assembly and maintenance of all donor medical records to ensure the integrity and security of the donor information. Oversees the input and maintenance of GSDS/SETDS data regarding donor, referral and other related information pertinent to GSDS/SETDS' mission. Constantly monitors all such information to ensure reports and other compliance related duties are completed. MAJOR DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES �Receives, complies, and prepares all donor records for review and signature. Reviews organ and tissue donor records to determine level of compliance with established DCI Donor Services policy and procedures; AATB; EBAA; FDA; CMS; AOPO; and UNOS regulatory entities. Requests additional information medically necessary for donor records (i.e. autopsy reports, culture results, etc). �Oversees the process of compiling various pieces of statistical information regarding GSDS/SETDS referrals, donor activity, and other quality related activities. Performs audit related assessments such as consent and medical/social history screening; equipment; inventory of supplies; incoming/outgoing supplies; and other auditing tasks as requested. �Responsible for information sharing with external and internal service partners for data, medical records and referral information in accordance with industry standards and DCIDS policies and procedures. Requests additional information when necessary for donor records (i.e. autopsy, culture results, medical chart information, etc) and provides to partners in a timely manner. �Participates in required quality training and continuing educational growth to ensure staff is competent, compliant, and trained in quality related tasks with transplant/industry related guidelines. �Performs other related duties as assigned/requested. QUALIFICATIONS: Education required: High School Diploma, Medical training preferred.
