Staff job duties include:
* Educating clients about preventive care, pet health needs, treatments, hospital services and products, and other issues
* Obtaining relevant information and history from clients and maintaining proper and complete medical charts
* Completing preparatory work for patient treatments and surgical procedures such as dosage calculations, injections, monitoring vital signs, filling medications, and anesthesia induction - under veterinary supervision
* Ensuring that clients and pets are comfortable in the hospital, monitoring hospitalized or surgical pets
* Maintaining clean and organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs
* Assisting Veterinarian with inventory needs
* Maintaining medical, laboratory, and surgical equipment
* Helping other staff members as needed
* AviMark Software experience a plus
