Polysomnographic Sleep Technologist Job Opening in Novi, Michigan - The Center for Respiratory and Sleep Disorders in Novi () is currently seeking an experienced Registered Polysomnographic Technologist to join our facility. Average work hours would consist of 10 hours shifts. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Review history and physical, study requests and protocol
Familiar with using Sandman sleep diagnostic software but not necessary.
Knowledgeable in performing diagnostic sleep studies to evaluate problems such as sleep apnea, narcolepsy, insomnia, parasomnias, restless leg syndrome and nocturnal seizures
Skilled in performing CPAP, BIPAP and ASV titrations
Document observations such as sleep stages, clinical events, changes in pressure, and other significant events.
Score studies using AASM protocols
Follow Sleep lab policy and procedures using AASM protocols
Required Experience:
RPSGT-must be current
American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers
Experience in staging and scoring studies
Education: Graduate from an approved Sleep Technician program.
Licensure: Registered Polysomnographic Technologists and Basic Life Support.
