Production - Engraver / Graphic Artist Job Opening in austin, Texas - Production - Engraver / Graphic Artist Bat City Awards & Apparel is seeking a full-time salary employee to handle day-to-day on-site production duties. Job requires engraving, award assembly, sandblasting, inventory check in, shipping & deliveries, art production and building maintenance. Environment is fast paced and dynamic. Must be able to work under tight deadlines, handle instruction well and wear several hats. Required Qualifications 1. Must be mechanical in nature. Primary job duty is to laser engrave and assemble award product. 2. Must be computer savvy with familiarity with art software programs. A bulk of the work requires use of Corel Draw. Without a familiarity to Corel or other software programs in advance, it will be too challenging to adapt. 3. Proficient in written English. Without decent command of the language, too many grammatical and spelling mistakes will occur. 4. Valid driver license and clean driving history. Preferred Qualifications 1. Strong graphic art background, especially with Corel, Illustrator and Photoshop. 2. Industry experience. 3. College degree or other advanced education. 4. Stable employment history. Job Package ? Hours: M-F 9:00am -- 5:30pm (40-45 hours a week); no evenings or weekends ? Compensation: $24,000 to $26,000 (based upon fit & experience) ? Benefits: Full medical & dental plan; two week vacation a year ?
