Material Handler Job Opening in austin, Texas - Material Handler Job Purpose: ?Performs manual and clerical duties related to receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, delivering or shipping, a variety of materials, and supplies between internal facilities. Key Accountabilities, to include, but not limited to the following: ?Counts, weighs or measures incoming or outgoing items to compare identifying information and variety against bills of materials. ?Fill out orders and issues materials to shop orders in the manufacturing floor. ?Perform cycle counts as weekly basis. ?Keep area clean and follow "5S" protocols ?Continuous move of boxes up to 50 pounds on a regular basis ?Manage and handle small and fragile items. ?Keep assigned warehouse count integrity up to 99% accuracy Knowledge, Education and Experience Require: ?High School Diploma or GED ?Ability to follow standard warehouse policies and procedures ?Ability to use MS Word/ Excel / and Access Data Base ?Customer service skills necessary to respond to inquiries and material requirements ?0-2 Years experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment assembling electro-mechanical components. ?Knowledge of automated or computerized system operation. ?Knowledge of record keeping practices ?Must have good written and oral communication skills (English) ?Familiar with clean room standard concepts, practices, and procedures. ?Ability to read process sheets, prints or route cards ?Must be able to stay on task and be self-motivating ?Must be able to work under minimum supervision ?Must be high detail oriented ?Hours per Week: 40 and able to work overtime as needed ?Minimal knowledge of 5S concepts ?Familiar knowledge of team building or group of team as a team player. ?Familiar with ISO and environmental standards austin tx texas
