Night Auditor Job Opening in Charleston, South carolina - This position, as all of our positions at The Inn at Middleton Place, is first and foremost Guest Service. The Front Desk serves as the hub of activity on property and as Auditor you are left alone to handle guest requests and needs with little management or overseeing.
Audit is responsible for the following, but are not limited too:
-Answer incoming calls within 3 rings with appropriate greeting and assist with reservations, confirmations, room need requests and questions.
-Providing guest with appropriate room assignments, room keys, and directions to the rooms
-Facilitate guest departures providing accurate statements and collecting all payments due
-Balancing the audit paperwork and property postings
-Completion of the daily checklist
-Verifying of key sign in and out
-Responsible for all money dropped, kept in drawer, and received throughout property. By signing below you are stating that you understand this. If money is found to be missing in anyway associated with FD procedures, this may be compensated to the Inn via your reimbursement if you are held accountable.
-Maintain knowledge of current Inn/Middleton Place events, activities, hours of operation
-Maintain updated information and knowledge of the Front Desk duties and operations, via front desk training with manager
-On time and in uniform for scheduled shifts, shift determination made by the manager.
-Any task that management deems necessary of your hours
-Lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
As this is a 365-day a year operation, weekends and holidays are required.
