Regional Sales Director, Central Region, US Job Opening in Waltham, Massachusetts - Position Description: The selected candidate will be responsible for providing commercial support of the ExSpironTM 1Xi Respiration Monitor, in multiple hospital call points including Anesthesia, Critical Care, Procedural Sedation, Emergency Department, Rapid Response, and the Med/Surg general care floors.
The Regional Sales Director is responsible for targeting, prospecting, performing product demonstrations, forecasting, closing new and incremental business, as well as ongoing account development. The Regional Sales Director will work closely with the Respiratory Motion clinical applications specialists in support of clinical evaluations, product implementation, training, and education.
Sales Directors Roles and Responsibilities include :
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, energetic and resourceful sales performer with a proven track record and in the medical device industry. Clinical credentials and experience is a plus but high performing candidates will not be excluded if clinical experience is minimal.
A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the medical device industry is required. Candidate must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to effectively articulate complex technical and clinical information to a diverse customer base. Proficiency with MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and the Internet are mandatory.
We are searching for a Director of Sales for the Central US region.
Drive the sale of ExSpironTM 1Xi Respiration Monitor in various patient populations and hospital call points including Medical/Clinical Leadership Physicians, Nurses, Respiratory Therapy, Quality Managers, Patient Safety Officers, Executives, Sourcing and Implementation, and other hospital personnel that are involved with the value analysis of medical technology.
The Sales Director will be fluent on the value of noninvasive and continuous respiratory monitoring using minute ventilation to identify periods of aberrant ventilation to include significant, and sometimes severe, hyper? and hypoventilation.
Work with the clinical, marketing, and clinical research teams to understand the account needs, processes, and key champions and decisions makers to drive the sale.
Establish a strategy to qualify, develop, and deepen relationships with prospective and current customers.
Stay current on Respiratory Motion?s products, technology, clinical applications, competitive products and value propositions.
Act as the representative of the Company in connection with all aspects of the sales process.
Travel:
Projected travel is 75%, including local and regional travel in designated territories, as well as to occasional national medical conferences and business meetings as required.

Education Requirements:
Minimum requirement ? Bachelor?s degree. MBA a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements :
Lifting up to 25 LBS, standing for extended periods of time.

Competitive base salary with generous variable commission potential.
