An opportunity now exists within Finance & Accounting for an entry level professional to perform various accounting functions, with primary focus on order entry and invoicing. This may include generating renewal quotes, contact and follow-up with customers, generating customer invoices and vendor purchase orders, and facilitating payments to partners. The Staff Accountant also assists the Accounting team with general accounting and month-end close processes, financial reporting, and ad hoc projects.
Qualified candidates learn quickly and possess excellent interpersonal skills. In addition, they are organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated. After initial orientation, the staff accountant will be given general direction from the Accounting Manager, but is expected to perform duties and responsibilities independently. The job requires excellent analytical and communication skills as statistical and financial reporting is an essential element to this position. Must be able to communicate effectively with staff in all levels of the organization and implement best practices and process improvements related to this role
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree in Finance/Accounting, or related field
Excellent interpersonal skills
Great organizational skills, detailed-oriented, and self-motivated
Dependability and great teamwork ethic
Preferred Qualifications:
1-2 years? experience in similar role
Skilled in Excel
Familiarity with General Ledger
