Senior .Net Developer Job Opening in Columbus, Ohio - This position challenges you to join our dynamic team of developers. You will deliver high quality and highly performance software. This position involves development of both high-level and executional concepts for a wide array of projects. It requires working with various internal teams to identify issues and opportunities as they relate to internal and external facing tools.
You will help to C# and code for websites, services and applications. You will have a strong background in SQL (T-SQL preferred) and understand, at a minimum, the basics of various joins, stored procedure creation, and ad-hoc SQL queries. You will work directly with stakeholders to define and implement requirements. A large part of your work will revolve around SQL Server and complex C# services and applications.
This position requires a minimum of 4-6 years? experience with C#/T-SQL. You must be comfortable explaining your ideas to your team lead and executive-level stakeholders. You will be able to understand and translate the stakeholders? business needs into amazing, workable solutions. You should be comfortable (and excited about) working in data-obsessed environment and one in which application performance, measurement, and instrumentation are defining requirements.
You must have experience with AWS; experience with migrating physical environments to AWS preferred. Experience with basic Windows Administration also desired.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Create, support and continuously improve dynamic websites, services, aand cross channel projects.
Participate in multiple projects from concept through completion and monitoring
Collaborate with team members on creative programs and design concepts that meet the business objectives of the organization
Remain current with evolving trends and standards in development, e-commerce, and performance measurement
Be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, while producing creative, high quality work
Work with other business departments on requirement definition
Provide quality control over concepts and projects
Have an interest in learning the intricacies of the business
REQUIRED SKILLS
4 year degree in software engineering or development
A minimum of 4-6 years of experience with the Microsoft stack, with at least some experience leading other developers. Strong knowledge (minimum 3 years? experience) of C# and
Must possess a thorough understanding of T-SQL and be comfortable working with queries, stored procedures, etc. on a daily basis.
Must be interested and excited about measurement, instrumentation, and writing fast and reliable code
Experience or exposure with MVC and/or MVP design pattern
Extensive experience with object oriented programming and design patterns
Ability to work on projects from concept to completion
Ability to make evaluative judgments
Ability to communicate effectively - both orally and in writing
Ability to work well with a team
