Flooring Sales Specialist Job Opening in Salt Lake City, Utah - Chariot Wholesale is looking for a Flooring Sales Specialist to work with existing customers. We are a plumbing and building wholesale supply company that works with hundreds of businesses within a multi-state area. We are looking for a long-term employee to help our customers receive the customer service we dedicate to provide to our clients. Experience in installation or sales with the following flooring types: tile, carpet, wood floors, and concrete is much preferred.
This position is a outside / inside sales and customer service position. It involves direct business to business sales and customer service. In will also include working with walk-in customers on our sales floor, and helping them find the right products for their home or construction project. It is a fun position in that you get to design plumbing and construction products with clients for their projects. This includes lots of customer service working direct with clients via person to person, phone calls, and email.
A note about our sales positions: While this is a sales position, this is NOT a commission based position. We pay a healthy hourly rate plus monthly bonuses. This new position we are hiring for requires direct outside sales calls to existing and new customers. These are warm sales calls and we receive a very warm reception rate from our customers. This position is more about explaining the product and selling it to customers already buying the products. We are working with customers who need assistance purchasing product.. Please be aware we are looking for a happy and smiling person, who is willing to learn product knowledge, and explain products to the customers. Please understand this job opening requires a disposition dynamic enough to work with, and engage customers throughout the day. We need someone who loves working with people and explaining the details of products.
Job requirements as follows: Strong people, customer service, and organizational skills; strong English writing and communication skills; face to face and phone customer service skills, above average computer skills, and at least average computer knowledge in programs like Word and Excel. This position requires large amounts of organization, a detail minded and dedicated person. It makes the job different every day and very enjoyable! Job also requires a steep learning curve, please be ready to take on a challenge and learn the industry. Employees are paid throughout their training. We are looking for a high energy people person for this position. If you love meeting and working with new people on a daily basis, this job may be for you! A clean driving record is also required for this position.
We need an employee Full time 37-40 hours per week. Applicants must be able to work 8-5 hours Monday through Friday. No working on weekends, Sundays, or major holidays.
