Head of Accounting and Systems Job Opening in Bridgewater, New jersey - A New Jersey-based Engineering firm is in search for their next Head of Accounting and Systems. The ideal candidate will have a public accounting background and prior Big 4 experience. Their main goal is to build a new and dynamic team while streamlining the company's accounting processes to make them more efficient.
Main responsibilities:
Heavy focus on Auditing
Full-cycle accounting under IFRS and GAAP
Excellent communication at all levels of the chain of command
Thorough understanding of technical accounting's current trends and practices
Coordination of internal and external auditing
Overseeing operational accounting functions like GL, Intercompany Accounting, Financial reporting, Balance Sheetsand general government compliance
Financial Statement preparation
Internal controls
Month end and year end close
Improve cost capture and transfer pricing
Required Skills:
7+ Years of Auditing role, preferably as a lead
CPA /ACCA/CMA license or technical accounting certification
Strong leadership skills
