Accounting Specialist Job Opening in Louisville, Kentucky - Buffalo Construction, Inc. is an established commercial General Contractor headquartered in Louisville, KY with projects located nationwide. We are currently seeking an Accounting Specialist to provide accounts payable support. This is an entry-level position.
Overview of Responsibilities:
Review invoices for accuracy
Scan, enter, and match up invoices in accounting system.
Research and report invoice discrepancies
Set Up New Vendors and update records as needed
Provide cross over support as needed
Exceptional organizational skills with proven ability to prioritize daily tasks in order to meet deadlines, ensure efficient workflow, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task effectively.
Must be able to work effectively and productively both independently and with a wide variety of people in an environment of rapidly changing deadlines and priorities.
Professional demeanor along with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Display a detail-oriented approach to daily activities and a self-starter attitude.
Possess a general understanding of basic accounting principles.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Excel and Word is required.
Previous experience in an office environment a must.
