Lead Staff Accountant:
The successful candidate will have at least three years experience in an accounting role, as well as exposure to the following areas of accounting: accounts payable, night audit, cash management, bank and credit card reconciliations and daily financial reporting.
This salaried position reports directly to the Hotel's Controller.
For this position hospitality industry experience is strongly preferred.
Requirements include but are not limited to:
A minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience including A/P, audit and cash management.
Experience in a management or supervisory role at a property of similar caliber
Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills
Expert knowledge of MS Excel and all other MS Office applications
Knowledge of hotel property management and point-of-sale systems (OPERA and MICROS) is a plus.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including some late nights, weekends and holidays
