Accounting Firm Seeks FT Bookkeeper Job Opening in Brentwood, California - Accounting firm looking for a detail-oriented, diligent and take-charge bookkeeper to handle client accounts.
This is a permanent full-time position.

We lend hand to small businesses, established companies and start-ups in a multitude of industries including Healthcare, Automotive, Construction, Real Estate, Advertising, and Pet, with some staff dedicated solely to the Interior Design industry!

Job Responsibilities:
Assist Accountants with day-to-day account management
Efficient data entry
Work within QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop
Prepare monthly and quarterly reconciliations
Journal entries and accruals
Payroll processing
Verify vendor accounts
Assist with special projects and other accounting and operations issues as-needed
Experience and Skill:
Minimum of 1 year of hands-on bookkeeping experience
Data entry skills
Efficient in QuickBooks Online, Excel and Word
Must have the ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal)
Ability to work on a deadline
Able to manage multiple assignments and be an effective problem solver
Must have a positive and proactive demeanor
Compensation:
Hourly compensation will range from $12-$14 per hour, DOE. Company offers a compensation package that includes vacation, paid holidays, accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
