Automotive Sales Consultant Job Opening in Wilmington, Delaware - Automotive Sales Consultant
Mercedes Benz of Wilmington is looking to add to our sales staff to support our increased business volume. We are seeking both entry level and seasoned sales professionals for our New and Pre-owned Sales departments.
All qualified candidates must possess excellent customer service and communication skills as well as a valid driver's license and clean background check. Retail sales experience is preferred but we will train those with a positive attitude and a strong desire to succeed and learn.
We offer a commission based pay plan and excellent benefits package including medical, dental, life insurance, and an employer contributed 401K plan.
Job Responsibilities:
Sells automobiles by understanding and demonstrating characteristics, capabilities, and features; developing and qualifying buyers; closing sales
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
Understands automobiles by studying characteristics, capabilities, and features
Working knowledge of competing brands to confidently overcome customer objections
Develops buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers, suggesting trade-ins, meeting prospects at community activities, responding to inquiries, recommending sales campaigns and promotions
Qualifies buyers by understanding buyer's requirements and interests; matching requirements and interests to various models; building rapport
Closes sales by answering questions, overcoming objections, negotiating price, completing sales or purchase contracts, explaining provisions, and asking for the sale
Provides sales management information by completing reports
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
Enhances dealership reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
