Part Time Sales Associate Job Opening in Fort Mill, South carolina - Are you enthusiastic and enjoying working with people? Do you have a love of fashion and/or home decor? We are a boutique in the Fort Mill area specializing in gifts, apparel and interiors. We are seeking a professional and energetic sales associate to join our friendly team.
As a Part-Time Sales Associate you will be responsible for driving the selling efforts and customer relationships in the boutique by providing excellent customer service while supporting merchandising and store appearance.
Responsibilities:
Create a warm, inviting environment for our customers
Partner with teammates on tasks, processes and merchandising
Support superior standards around store cleanliness
Act in accordance with store guidelines at all times
Have a clear understanding of products
Be familiar with the merchandise on the floor and make suggestions to customers as appropriate
Demonstrate enthusiasm and a positive attitude
Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Maintain consistent attendance
Qualifications:
Previous retail experience preferred
Must be able to perform all retail floor functions including standing for extended periods, climb ladders, stock/retrieve merchandise, and unload shipments
Must be able to communicate clearly with fellow employees and customers
Must perform basic retail math and have strong computer skills
Must be able to collaborate and work well within a team
Must be enthusiastic, friendly and trustworthy
