Healthcare Software Implementation and Training Specialist (... Job Opening in Nashville, Tennessee - HSTpathways is a fast growing company that has been in business for over 11 years. The job position is based in the new office located in Nashville, TN. With the addition of 2 new product lines in 2016 to the existing software product offerings, the growth has been explosive! The demand for our products has created a need to add members to our professional services organization.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to be a part of HSTpathways' expanding implementation team! Only applicants with previous experience in healthcare revenue cycle and patient accounting knowledge will be considered.
Job Description
Provide onsite, classroom or remote training in the use of the software products provided by HST, utilizing the tools and methodologies supported by HST.
Conduct training sessions for clinical and office personnel, facility administration and other groups as determined necessary in correct utilization of the software application.
Conduct training sessions for facility administrator and office managers on administrative duties and responsibilities related to the specific software application and its intended use.
Provide documentation and education materials as appropriate.
Be the voice of the customer by providing and documenting change requests from the customers, delivering feedback to the appropriate department.
Be professional, courteous, and tactful in all direct and phone communications.
Work in partnership with the customers and third-party vendors to provide operational expertise related to the HST applications and how they interact with other products.
Proactively identify, manage, and resolve issues raised by clients to ensure efficient and effective solutions as well as client satisfaction.
Identify client needs including client satisfaction issues and refer the client to the appropriate resources such as account managers, or bring the issues to the attention of Client Services Management ? utilizing good judgment in directing the issue.
Maintain adequate records of travel expenses for regular submission. Adhere to company travel & expense policies.
Assist in writing & reviewing operational documentation for use by other HST staff.
Assist in updating and developing our internal Knowledge Base.
Assist in the development and updating of training curriculum.
Perform special projects or other duties as assigned.
Participate in application support when in-house.
Requirements
Education: Prefer a College Degree, or equivalent work experience in the Ambulatory Health Care industry.
Position requires a deep knowledge and hands-on experience of healthcare revenue cycle processes including billing, coding, electronic claims, scheduling, patient accounting and collections, supply chain
Strong Desktop application skills (MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Project, etc.).
Effective problem solver with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Efficient and effective when working independently, with cross-functional team, with clients and internal management teams to ensure project success.
2 -3 years prior training experience (healthcare preferred).
Be available and able to accommodate a heavy travel schedule if necessary. Job is estimated to be 50% of the time on average.
