Clinical Quality Analyst Job Opening in Talbott, Tennessee - SUMMARY
By utilizing a team-based model, the Clinical Quality Analyst is responsible for aligning clinical informatics, quality improvement efforts, and outcomes measurement to support effective and efficient population-based care for CHS patients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following:
Collaborate closely with ? and communicate between ? IT leadership and the clinical community to provide leadership for clinical systems projects and initiatives.
Assist in the development of policies and procedures for the usage of clinical information systems.
Ongoing monitoring and analysis of quality measure data as part of the organization?s patient outreach and performance efforts
Works closely with informatics specialists, data analysts, clinical and operational leadership to ensure that quality reporting requirements and value-based care metrics for multiple payers and regulatory agencies are met
Works with clinical and support staff to optimize the usage of clinical systems through education and training, quality outcomes, and providing support in accordance with organizational goals.
Assist EHR team and data analysts on development of workflows and processes that ensure reports are built to capture and record accurate quality metric data
Analyze quality metric data/reports for patterns, anomalies and opportunities
Serve as the meaningful use champion, coordinator and educator
Assess, plan, develop, implement, and evaluate priorities and strategies to meet the mission and vision and support the values of Cherokee Health Systems
Some travel is required
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience : Bachelor?s degree in nursing required. Minimum of three years of experience with working knowledge of management, outcomes measurement, team development and quality tools.
Computer Skills :
Knowledge of computer programs required
SQL (preferred)
