Clinic Director for Urgent Care / Primary Care / Medical Gro... Job Opening in Los Angeles, California - Multi-Site Urgent Care / Primary Care / Medical Group in Los Angeles, CA Seeking Clinic Director / Administrator for Full-Time
We are a multi-site urgent care and primary care operation seeking an experienced clinic director to help manage, coordinate and join our growing operations! Candidate must have at least 3 years of clinical management experience, including extensive knowledge of front- and back- office procedures as well as skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff, patients, the public, vendors and fellow Executive Team members.
Job Summary: Management of day-to-day clinic operations across sites, supervision of Site Supervisors and front/back/staff, coordination of on-site medical staff professionals, and execution of marketing/growth objectives and business goals alongside Executive Team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a team player
High degree of inter-personal skills and communication skills
Excellent multi-tasking ability
EMR and Practice Management Software knowledge
Scheduling Software knowledge
Must be able to perform both front office and back office functions (Medical Assisting experience preferred)
Bi-lingual a plus
Urgent Care/Primary Care experience required
Knowledge of fiscal management and human resource management techniques.
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff, patients, the public, insurance carriers, vendors and external agencies.
Ability to motivate staff and work effectively with others.
Ability to effectively supervise and evaluate the performance of associates.
Provide orientation and training of new personnel.
Self-motivation, initiative and desire to increase abilities in management within the healthcare industry.
Knowledge of organization policies and procedures.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Basic knowledge of wage and labor regulations.
Skill in gathering and analyzing information.
Ability to work under pressure and handle stress.
Ability to effectively manage client/patient complaints
Skill in researching, preparing, and presenting comprehensive reports.
Ability to exercise decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Management all aspects of the day-to-day clinic operations across sites
Front Office, Back Office, and Scribe Staff Management, including recruiting, selecting, training, supervising, evaluating, and managing individuals and departments
Coordination between Medical Director and medical staff (physicians and allied health professionals) on clinical policies and procedures
Development and execution of Marketing Plans alongside Executive Team
Oversight of Site Supervisor staff in management of space, equipment and material resources to standards of safety, sanitation, efficiency, and appearance
Clinic workflow design and management
Budget preparation and reporting on a monthly and ad-hoc basis
Practice growth management
Maintain standards of quality care
Vendor relationship management
Management of space, equipment, material, and medical supply resources
Inventory management
Development and implementation of policies and procedures
Oversight of workers compensation and occupational medicine service lines
Development of additional medical services lines and procedures alongside Executive Team
Analysis of market conditions to identify trends and adjust policies and procedures accordingly
Delegation of responsibility as appropriate
Strictest confidentiality and professionalism
Compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and applicable regulations
Candidates will perform the above functions both individually and via delegation to/managing Site Supervisors for operational objectives and Marketing/Business Development partners for business objectives.
