Position Summary : This Recruiter reports to the Recruiting Manager with dotted line responsibility to the Executive Vice President. Incumbent will be responsible for all field caregiver recruitment programs across multiple branches and markets and will be responsible for maintenance of applicant tracking and adherence to recruiting budget.
Position Responsibilities:
Recruit qualified clinical applicants to work in home care; coordinating recruitment efforts to branch needs in partnership with and Clinical Managers.
Determine best recruitment strategy for region, and handle all sourcing activities such as, but not limited to advertisements, job fairs, reactivation campaigns, and referral programs.
Use networking and online sourcing, in addition to traditional sourcing methods, to identify potential candidates.
Employ effective customer service and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with candidates and present the Company as an employer of choice.
Conduct follow-up with applicants and potential candidates to stay abreast of continued interest in employment opportunities.
Screen prospective candidates by phone; ensure Clinical Managers and Human Resource Coordinators are kept abreast of applicants throughout the application process and interview all qualified candidates in a timely manner.
Maintain appropriate documentation relating to applicants and potential new hires
Work with branch personnel to ensure that references are conducted in a timely fashion. Use appropriate follow-up techniques in order to receive information promptly.
Work with branch personnel to ensure that pre-employment testing and all other requirements are secured in order to move a candidate to applicant status. Ensure candidate is hired on where applicable send offer letter if entire premployment process is successfully completed.
Work in coordination with branch personnel, including Clinical Manager, to ensure that only appropriate and qualified clinical staff is hired.
Work with branch personnel to ensure criminal background screening is conducted as required by company policy and/or regulatory requirements.
Communicate and facilitate completion of health clearance requirements (physical, PPD, etc.) via Clinical Manager.
Maintain confidentiality regarding all aspects of patient and/or employee information in compliance with the HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules. Maintain compliance with applicable state and federal regulations, company policies/procedures and accreditation standards.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Must be able to travel as required for business purposes.
Position Requirements :
High School Diploma or equivalent
Bachelor?s degree (preferred)
Minimum 2 years recruitment experience - Home Care recruitment a plus.
Strong computer skills and experience to include MS Office suite (word, excel, outlook, etc)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective candidate interaction and management, including bi-lingual where necessary
Knowledge of State/Federal employment laws
Excellent organizational, follow-up and time management skills with the ability to prioritize work load
Flexibility required at all times; ability to travel within assigned recruitment territory and work non-traditional hours as needed (i.e. weekend, evenings, etc)
