Programmer/Data Analyst - Entry Level or Level 2 Job Opening in Manasquan, New jersey - O'Conco Healthcare is a well respected boutique consulting firm specializing in the healthcare industry. Located in Wall, NJ (mailing address is Manasquan), Monmouth County, we are experts in how hospitals are paid. We use large amounts of data which we process, analyze and interpret for our client hospitals.
POSITION
O'Conco is currently seeking an Programmer/Data Analyst - Entry Level or Level 2 who will be responsible for monitoring and completing routine client projects in a timely and accurate manner. Projects include data processing, report production and analysis. Individual will be expected to evaluate processes for improvement.
What this job is: The focus is on data, analysis and logic, writing code to properly manipulate and analyze data.
What this job is not: This position is not for a software developer.
General supervision and direction will be provided.
EDUCATION
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor?s degree preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent work/training experience.
SKILLS
Candidate must be familiar with database systems and structures, preferably with knowledge of SQL Server. Knowledge of Excel and the healthcare industry a plus. You must be able to multi-task due to changing priorities and deadlines as well as work independently with necessary direction.
If you possess analytical and critical thinking skills with technical knowledge of basic programming and database concepts sufficient to complete projects, we would be interested in speaking with you.
