West Tennessee Sales Representative Job Opening in Jackson, Tennessee - Responsibilities:
Work with assigned manager to secure inactive small to medium size businesses with our entire portfolio of product offerings. Ensuring assigned advertising goals and deadlines are met. Will work in the West Tennessee area from Jackson Tn and other areas as assigned.
To maintain, manage and develop a personal sales territory, soliciting all businesses within and providing full customer service to this territory. To achieve appropriate territory sales and customer count.
Developing prospect lists, extensive cold calling efforts, targeting special accounts, the selling of special pages, providing detailed call sheets, developing marketing packages and campaigns, utilizing appropriate ad development techniques and providing customer consultations, selling inserts, direct mail, digital marketing, up selling and assisting customers with receivable issues.
Additionally required: strong communication skills, commitment to quality results, ability to follow instruction and strong computer skills.
Requirements:
Sales experience preferred.
Customer service experience a plus
Ability to learn systems and programs quickly
Must have time-management and excellent organizational skills
Ability to understand the market dynamics of the print, direct mail, digital and the value of a regional based shopping guide as advertising mediums
Working knowledge of advertising procedures
MUST BE self driven.
