Experienced Staff Accountant Job Opening in Bakersfield, California - Growing local CPA Firm is seeking Experienced Staff Accountant to take charge of various clients' monthly accounting. The person hired will be working with all facets of the accounting cycle from posting transactions to assisting the Partners in preparing month end financial statements.
Requirements:
2 plus years experience in CPA Firm
2 plus years experience with QuickBooks
Proficient in both general & accounting related computer software
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent problem solving skills and detail oriented
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
Organizational and time management skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environmentDuties
Posting of daily sales/receipts
Reconcile all bank accounts for various entities
Preparation of trial balances and financial statements
Perform other accounting duties as needed and as assigned by supervisors
