Staff Accountant Job Opening in Los Angeles, California - Staff Accountant is responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Special Projects and Analysis.
Maintaining and developing comprehensive financial models and analysis for each of the company?s key business units.
Working closely with sales, marketing, and operations to develop, maintain, analyze, and update financial projections and actual results.
Establish and maintain systems and controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data, and enhance the Company's value.
Prepare and reconcile vendor and customer rebate
Prepare and analyze account reconciliations.
Review invoices and supporting documentation for accuracy.
Perform such other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as required from time to time - on short notice and quite often in tight time-frames.
Team oriented with a willingness to support others.
Other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned as the job requirements dictate.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance.
3-5 years of accounting experience or finance exposure.
Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills.
Extensive knowledge of MS Excel.
A high energy, proactive problem solver with the proven ability to work with a team and desire to take on and successfully accomplish special projects and process improvement assignments.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn with the ability to take ownership, work independently, and execute in a rapidly changing environment
Must be detail oriented.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and oral communication skills.
Ability to handle multi-faceted projects with strong follow through.
Commitment to quality, motivated self-starter, highly analytic, and takes ownership of work.
