Senior Tax Accountant Job Opening in Madison, Wisconsin - Senior Tax Accountant
Responsibilities
· Provide tax compliance and advisory services to partnerships, corporations, and individuals for a variety of middle market clients and emerging businesses.
· Research and consult on various tax matters, respond to IRS and other tax authority inquiries when requested, make recommendations to the client for consideration.
Qualifications
· Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
· Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a professional services firm providing tax compliance services.
· Experience preparing and reviewing corporate returns, flow through entities and individual tax returns.
· Demonstrated analytical, organization, interpersonal, project manager, communication skills, and highly developed Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Excel) required.
· Strong project management skills.
· Ability to work independently and under direct supervision in a team environment to meet deadlines.
· Ability to clearly and effectively communicate information to internal personnel and outside clients verbally and in writing.
· Possess exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously to meet strict deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $48,000.00 to $60,000.00 /year
