RN Medicare Nurse - Short Term Rehabilitation Care Job Opening in Calhoun, Georgia - RN Medicare Nurse (R.N.) - Short Term Rehabilitation Care Facility
Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (with emergency call as needed)
MDS experience and knowledge is strongly preferred
We are currently seeking a dependable, self motivated, & detail oriented RN to join our nursing team as Medicare RN. Strong assessment and documentation skills a must. EMR and Long term care experience a plus.
The primary purpose of your job position is to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

Job Duties include:
Provide kind and compassionate care and clinical assessments for our residents.
Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
Administer medications and treatments to residents and monitor residents' response.
Record residents' medical information and vital signs.
Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in residents' conditions
Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate resident care plans.
Provide direction to LPN's and CNA's
Qualifications:
Currently State licensed and in good standing
1 year Healthcare experience in long-term care or short-term rehabilitation preferred
