Phlebotomist (part-time and full-time) Job Opening in dallas, Texas - Phlebotomist (part-time and full-time) AIDS Arms, Inc. is seeking a full-time and a part-time phlebotomist for our Prevention program. The phlebotomist will conduct and coordinate protocol based counseling (PBC), HIV/STI testing, and outreach services to targeted populations within venues, neighborhoods, and other areas of high risk behaviors to HIV exposure. The qualified candidate will also provide screening and referrals for Hepatitis C, Tuberculosis, and chemical abuse/dependency related issues. Individual will be responsible for maintaining documentation of all clients and preparing demographics reports. This position requires certification in phlebotomy or a combination of three years education and experience. MS Word, Excel, and database experience is preferred. Individual must be able to demonstrate knowledge of and sensitivity to persons living with HIV/AIDS. Must have ability to effectively communicate in verbal and written formats and collaborate with community service providers. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends. Individual must be able to commute to surrounding counties up to 70 miles outside of the Dallas county area.
